Anything Non-Dog Related / Re: DON'T YOU SEE MY BUMPER STICKERS!?!?!?!?!
« on: November 17, 2005, 04:15:13 pm »
I have two bumper stickers.
One says, "Ignore Alien Orders!"
The other, "Dyslexics, 'UNTIE'!"
Do I need to scrape them off?

My name is John.
And I am an E-Bayaholic.
I buy things that I don't need, but things that I want.
I really like to bid by increments.
It gives me a sense of power!
And when I win, well that's when the lustre dies.
I love to win, but, what am I going to do with an Antique Crouquet Set when I don't have a yard?
And my dog likes to chew on wooden things?
I am lost!
Please will somebody HELP me?
John

p.s.
This is TULSA speaking...
Leave him alone! I like to chew on stuff!

Food Discussion & Information / Re: Peanut Butter
« on: November 13, 2005, 02:13:11 pm »
Tulsa LOVES Peanut Butter!
I made the mistake of leaving an empty jar on a counter as a reminder to get more.
I hadn't cleaned it or scraped it down real good, so there was about a quarter of a cup in the jar, and the lid was on, but not tight.
Went to the market, and when I got home, there was the PB lid, with teeth marks, by the door!
Found Tulsa under my desk, holding the jar with her front paws, her nose buried DEEP into the jar, her tongue lapping the inside like a PB junkie.
She looked up at me with that "Busted" look on her face! PB on her eyebrows!
I started laughing. The jar was spotless to within a half inch of the bottom.
Never had any digestive problems with her, she could eat a train and just BURP real good.
PB is a Treat anytime.
p.s.
Tulsa likes Skippy, Super Chunky!
Me too.

YAY!
Happy new addition!
Labs are GOOFY!
Make sure the windows are up when you drive by any form of water.
Be very sure that you have a change of clothes, and can out swim your dog!
Be very, very sure that you have a toy that your dog can't live without, attach a string, or rope to it, throw it toward your dog and run like the devil is chasing you!
Your dog will think that it's a cool game. And will come to you everytime.
Don't be disturbed when you call your dog, and it looks at you with that expression, "You talkin' to me?"
And finally, monitor their food!
A Lab will eat until it gags, and can't swallow.
A Lab will finish it's food and then look at you like it's starving.
It will look at any guests with that same look.
A Lab is the Master of the FOOD Guilt Trip!
Don't be a Chump!
I Love Labs!

Today I learned...
No matter how many times your heart has been broken, don't close it out of fear of it being broken again.

6 Months is not too young. There are health and behavior issues that can arise if you wait longer.

I usually go with my first choice on multiple guess questions.
I would stick with the 'A' choice.

Halloween was a Bummer!
Bought 4 Lbs. of Candy for the little Ba@^a&ds, and they didn't show up!
So now I've got all this candy that I can't eat, can't give to my dog, called my friend and she said there was a Dentist who was taking the unused treats and giving it to the Poor!
What's up with that?
I think I'll throw the candy away and send him some Costco toothbrushes!
Save me some money in the long run.
I might just knock on doors and hand out Toothbrushes tomorrow night.
