i can't beleive he is offering nee to people on the street.  if i were anywhere near you i would help foster him for you till gramps cools down a bit.  Headed to California anytime soon?  maybe there is another BPO up in your neck of the woods that can help out.

hahaha poor Bava wants to play and mean old you dont ;D

I have had similar situations, and like you said, you just dont tote away a giant dog lol. What I have found works is if you get as goofy as he, or better yet goofier ::) :P

Take a step back, jump, clap your hands have a silly voice and tell him how much fun its going to be when he gets to you. Most likely he is up and thinking you are the funniest thing ever by now, and you treat and tell him what a good boy he is.

Okay, anyone who is with you and not a dog, might pretend not to know you, but hey.... lol thats the beauty of having dogs lol ;D

Hope this helps and Good luck and let us know if Mr. Bava decides to be a mule again lol

Marit

I have the same problem with shakes sometimes and i do exactly what you do.  my new problem is that he sees through it now!!!  if i am trying to get him inside no matter how goofy and fun i look, he jsut wont budge!!!

certainly if it were just a way to list animals that need rescue, it would be bad.  I think the problem is that it wouldnt have just been a listing.  I don't know what the real plan was, but if it involved auctioning in any way.... or even without auctioning, not having screening.... that is just asking for BAD PEOPLE.......

Really glad to hear they are rethinking it.

I have a pizza story too..... We called in and ordered pizza from literaly 1/4 mile down the street.  They told us it would be 45 min, which is normal in our busy area, but it usually comes early.   An hour later we cal back to find out why it isn't here yet....

They tell us that they don't have an order for us in the computer, and asked if we ordered from a differnt papa john's..no we didn't because we have them in speed dial.

Well then they must have called and not gotten ahold of us.. no because the number you have is a cell phone and keeps a call log.

Well then we can make a pizza for you what would you like....oh, and it will be 45 minutes to deliver.  So i decide to just pick it up.

When i get there they made it WRONG!!! so i have to wait while they fix another pizza.

They gave it to us free, and gaveus a 2L coke too, but the whole ordeal took almost 2 hours.....

GRRRRRR.......

That idea is just SICK.  I really hope it isn't true, but if they are still considering let me know.

Hmmm................well, unfortunately, my hubby's taste in movies is a few steps below those on the classy meter.  Think Dumb and Dumber meets National Lampoon's (insert movie) and you pretty much have my husband.  He's very much into bodily functions, getting drunk, and acting like an idiot in public.  I'm not kidding.  He has no problem letting one rip out in a crowded room, making crude jokes at other's expense, and basically acting like a caveman.

Which is why I never take him out in public anymore.   :P

Edited to add: I keep him locked up and only let him out on special occasions. ;D

I keep my former marine locked up too most of the time.  The worst is when he says that he will be the DD for the night, and then come last call he is still drinking.  I of course, knowing this would happen stopped drinking many hours prior......

i don't get on scales either.  Who cares about weight.  I just try to constantly east better.  not that it works, but i try.  I really shoudl try to be more active too....  there certainly isn't 50 pouns on you to lose, plus it looks to me like you are at a pretty apropriate size for your build.  we aren't all mede to be the same shape.  your boobs would look a little silly on someone 50 pound lighter than you.
