I think confidence and very slow movements are the most important thing even if you're scared to death.

Umbrellas are good - not to hit the dog with but if you point it at the dog and open it quickly, it scares the bejesus out of most dogs. It works on the same principle as a frilled lizard or a cat puffing itself up - you suddenly look an awful lot bigger and scarier. Also if it doesn't make the dog back off, at least it's going to bite the umbrella rather than your legs.

^ Can I just say in my defence, that I don't, but my ex-boyfriend did.   :o  Which goes some way to explaining why he's an ex.

How's that for a small world!

???

Don't ask me HOW I know, but let's just say that Gauge is very well known female movie star and when I say XXX I don't mean she was in the Vin Diesel movie.  ;)

Oh dear... I don't quite know how to put this. But you should always Google puppy names before you choose one... Remember when Kitana was almost called Sahara??? *cough*  ;D

Oh well, he's a boy so he shouldn't have too much of a complex about it.  ;)

I agree about rats - they are fantastic pets. I'd say the only drawback with them is they only live around 3 years and you do get very attached to them as they are like little dogs.

OW - that had to hurt!  :D  :D  :D

I'm just hoping you're a whizz with Photoshop rather than a mad scientist.

That last photo looks like Kayzer is saying "Now tell me if this hurts". Get a Dane, save a fortune at the osteopath's!

I can't wait till 'Princess' gets a little older and starts threatening to report her parents for child abuse if she doesn't get what she wants and gets it RIGHT NOW! I'd be advertising her instead of the dog. 'Princess' probably wants a dog that looks like a wig on crack like Britney Spears has.

It really annoys me that people will go on about how wonderful their dogs are and how they love them, but they want to get shut of them. I often put dogs on the SPCGB website for rehoming and get some two pages of A4 florid saga about the dog. It makes me sick to my stomach to be honest and I have to bite my lip rather than e-mail them back and tell them what I really think.

Yay for Angus and Codina! I bet your would be 'visitor' needs clean underwear.

I'm paranoid myself and everything has got at least one lock on it. I check everything before I got to bed.

And that's why they made the song "UNDER the boardwalk"

Isn't that the song that goes:

Under the boardwalk - we don't walk with dread
Under the boardwalk - we know that overhead
Under the boardwalk - Barkley's pooped up above
Under the boardwalk - but that big doggy we love!

 :D  :D  :D

Don't get upset Barkley, these things happen to the best of us.  ;)

In that first photo, Zeus looks like he's thinking  "DAMN - that's the biggest flea I've ever had!"

Smudge on the other hand knows a comfortable spot when he sees one.
